My Entrepreneurship Story

My first exposure to entrepreneurship came in elementary school when I realized that I could sell things to other students in order to have enough money for the snack bar after school. I would make string bracelets out of various sports teams colors and sell them to my friends for 50 cents a piece. I come from a long line of entrepreneurs, but I learned most of my entrepreneurial passions from my father who has been a role model for me as he started various successful businesses throughout his life.

I enrolled in this class to explore a more structured side of entrepreneurship, instead of a pie-in-the-sky approach that most "entrepreneurs" have, yet never take action. I am hoping the class can help me place structure to ambivalence and help me develop a plan moving forward to foster my entrepreneurial passions.

Here is my current "entrepreneurial" project that I am working on with my wife:

The story of selling bracelets to other classmates is awesome. I wish it were that easy today as adults! It's awesome that you have a family member who you can look to for advice about entrepreneurial endeavors. I hope your project succeeds! Good luck.

It’s wonderful to hear the story of one who truly holds a passion for entrepreneurship and refining one's skill set. Unfortunately, I was unable to view the picture you included in your blog post but I’m sure it’s very innovative. I wish you the best of luck in your future endeavors and hope to have the opportunity to see your current project upon completion.
